Admission to your major/school

University Division does not award academic degrees. A student enrolled at IU Bloomington through University Division must certify/be admitted into a degree-granting unit at the beginning of the term following the one in which he/she completes 70 credit hours. (Exception: A transfer student, regardless of how many credit hours he/she has transferred to IUB, will be allowed to enroll through University Division for at least two terms.)
