Advising 101 Workshops: How to Make the Most of Your IU Experience
Want to gain an education at IU that meets your individual goals? Working with your Academic Advisor is one of the best ways to efficiently explore your options and learn how to build an IU Experience that will support your success. Attend one of these sessions to get a dose of some of the best advice from experienced University Division advisors. In these workshops we will help you:
1) Form your goals for your education.
2) Learn what resources at IUB will help you meet those goals.
3) Become familiar with the procedures and timelines related to registration, including summer planning.

Take charge of your education using IUB’s academic planning tools! Attend one of these hands-on workshops to learn how to use your Advisement Report to view which degree requirements you have satisfied, and use the iGPS plan and degree maps to make your own individual 4-year-plan. Also we will introduce you to the ePortfolio tool available to IUB students to plan and document both academic and co-curricular accomplishments.
